Housekeeper (Housekeeping) - Full-Time

To ensure that all guest rooms and bathrooms are cleaned to Marriott standards both in quality and in quantity. Replace any used amenities and report any maintenance concerns. Complete duties as assigned by management. Position requires ability to bend, push, pull, lift, and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent guest service and verbal communications skills to interact and communicate with managers, co-workers, and guests required. Multiple languages a plus. Must be available to work a flexible schedule rotating days and shifts including weekends and holidays, although will primarily work day shifts 8:00am-4:30pm. The property is accessible to public transportation. Hotel and/or related experience highly preferred; must be organized and able to multi-task and to work at an efficient pace, cleaning 18 guest rooms per shift. $8.00-8.25 per hour, with a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement, tuition reimbursement, food and room discounts, annual merit increases, and more). Housekeeping Aide-Full Time

Focuses on cleaning and maintaining public and lobby areas: hallways, lobby areas, public restrooms, stairwells, etc. and providing support to housekeepers cleaning guest rooms. Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Post caution signs. Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs. Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested. Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash placed near housekeeper carts. Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Position requires excellent hospitality and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Hotel and/or housekeeping/custodial or related experience preferred. Must be available to work a flexible AM/PM schedule rotating days and shifts including weekends and holidays (primarily day shifts). $8.00-8.50 per hour with a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement, tuition reimbursement, food and room discounts, annual merit increases, and more).
