Seeking a full time and a contingent housekeeping assistant for 7a-3:30p and 3:30p-12mn shifts.

Position Description:
Cleans and sanitizes rooms and furnishings in assigned areas following established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital.

Essential Functions:
# Receives assignments
# Performs housekeeping duties
# Demonstrates responsibility for EVS Quality Assurance program
# Assists with supply/equipment maintenance
# Demonstrates responsibility for communication and record keeping
# Is a productive member of the Environment Services Team
# Maintains a safe environment for patients and co-workers
# Complies with hospital and department policies and procedures for infection control
# Demonstrates responsibility for mission and value and achievement of organizational goals.

Requirements
# High School diploma or equivalent preferred
# Hospital housekeeping experience with demonstrated skills in a variety of duties preferred
# Ability to walk and stand for up to 80% of work time. Ability to lift, push carts and carry supplies up to 50% of the work time. Exerting 25-50 pounds of force occasionally.
