We're looking for a Full-time SECURITY GUARD at our Chester, New Jersey campus.

1. Performs scheduled tours to ensure safety of patients and property and to generate timely reports of incidents discovered during scheduled tours.
2. Locks and unlocks essential doors as requested by authorized individuals.
3. Performs surveillance of employees and visitors entering and exiting the facilities to ensure personal protection as required.
4. Conducts full investigations of all safety and security incidents prepared during a tour of duty. Notifies Supervisor of all recorded events.
5. Participates in fire emergencies, disaster emergencies, bomb threat emergencies, and other situations to ensure maximum preparation in the event of an actual emergency.
6. remains knowledgeable of fire alarm stations and of fire fighting apparatuses.
7. Controls parking and traffic flow, enforces parking regulations to maintain a safe exterior environment.
8. Conducts security inspections of packages as directed to guard against loss of Institute property and to prevent conveyance of unauthorized items into the Institute.
9. Aids in handling disturbed patients as requested by nursing professionals.
10. Monitors all visitors and vendors.
11. Enforces Institute?s smoke free policies.
12. Controls or ejects for Institute premises disorderly, drunken or disturbed persons.
12. Relieves the receptionist for scheduled breaks.
